Summary

Estonia is in the process of codifying its intellectual property law. This is being done within the framework of the programme ‘Development of Better Legislation’ and is fi nanced from EU funds. For this purpose, the Ministry of Justice established a working group, which is expected to complete its task in September 2014. The article gives an overview of the current state of codifi cation work on intellectual property, some conceptual bases, the work process, and the importance of co-operation with stakeholders, as well as some possible forms of collaboration.
